While the cast list is yet to be revealed, several big television stars have been revealed to have signed up to the show, including Nitin Ganatra, Stephanie Cole, Cecilia Noble, Michael French and Tamsin Greig. "The likes of Coronation Street and EastEnders have been running for nearly sixty and thirty-five years respectively, so to be adding a new one to the list after so long is a challenge, but I'm really excited!" Taking over the helm of the show as executive producer, storyliner and lead writer is xItzDannyx, a television newcomer with "big plans" for the fast-paced and gritty series.
Soap opera spy serial#
The serial is set in the fictional city of Ashbury, in the Midlands. The soap follows the daily lives and loves of the residents of Park Lane and the close-knit community that resides there. It has been announced that a brand new soap opera is set to hit our screens this Spring as Park Lane airs its first episodes. The characters are a mixture of my own, and also some that a few Forum Members made back in June 2017 specifically for this show. At the time, I went through a very indecisive period of changing stories and characters, and in the end it got so messy that I decided to leave it. Back in June 2017, I started a soap project, called Park Lane.
